Systems — exchange & admin
Project Overview
Axi is a real, globally regulated trading company — founded in 2007 and headquartered in Sydney, serving traders across multiple regulated jurisdictions. This engagement needed a complete exchange product built for it, not just a landing page: sign-up and KYC, spot and futures trading, staking, and an internal admin suite to run it all. Delivered as part of a senior product design team.
Problem
Two very different audiences on one platform — traders who need speed and clarity, and internal teams who need to safely run compliance, support and trading operations — usually pull a design system in opposite directions.
Research
Structured the platform around its real operational shape: a public landing page and exchange (sign-up, KYC, market, wallet, spot, futures, earn, profile) alongside a separate admin system (dashboard, user management, compliance, support, trading and staking operations, audit logs).
Solution
A shared design language — typography, color, components — applied consistently across both the trader-facing exchange and the admin back-office, so one system scales from a public sign-up flow to an internal compliance panel.
Impact
Proof the team can take on full-scale fintech platforms for a genuinely global, regulated company — front-end and operations, one system.
