Project Overview
AIFMetrics is a WealthTech100 company (2024) — recognized among the world's most innovative wealthtech platforms — turning complex fund data into something legible for next-gen investors, VCs, asset managers and wealth advisors. As part of a small product design team, our scope was the onboarding flow specifically: a document-heavy KYC process (Aadhaar, PAN, address proof, photo) that was genuinely hectic for users to complete manually.
Problem
Onboarding required collecting a stack of real documents — Aadhaar, PAN, address proof, a photo — a manual, document-heavy process that was hectic for users to get through.
Research
Dedicated workflow and user-flow mapping specifically for AIFMetrics' onboarding, backed by direct research against the platform's real target demographic.
Solution
Integrated eKYC and DigiLocker directly into onboarding, so users could pull their documents in with one click (via CKYC, DigiLocker or KRA) instead of manually uploading each one.
Impact
A one-click document flow inside a platform recognized as a 2024 WealthTech100 company.
