Project Overview
Baldwin Institutions is the umbrella for three separate schools — Baldwin Girls', Baldwin Boys' and Baldwin Methodist College — each with its own website, built as three distinct projects rather than one shared platform, and grouped here as a single case study rather than three near-identical ones. Baldwin Girls' came first, modernized without abandoning the institution's traditional values; Baldwin Boys' followed with full creative freedom, delivered as a Harvard-style, high-performance site; together, the two pushed combined admissions well past what either school expected. Baldwin Methodist College came last.
Problem
Three heritage institutions with websites too old for the digital era families now search in — undermining, rather than reflecting, the schools' actual standing.
Research
No single formal process — Baldwin Girls' needed to modernize without abandoning its traditional values, and Baldwin Boys' gave full creative freedom, each shaping a different approach rather than one shared brief. Baldwin Methodist College followed with its own dedicated build.
Solution
Three separate websites, each its own build — a values-conscious modernization for Baldwin Girls', a Harvard-style, high-performance build for Baldwin Boys' with full creative freedom, and a dedicated build for Baldwin Methodist College — plus marketing carried across all three.
Impact
Baldwin Boys' and Girls' each expected roughly 100–200 admissions this year; combined, the rebuild pushed that past 600, per the institutions' own count.
