Plan A Home is a Bengaluru construction and design company — architectural and structural design, 3D visualization, interior design and full construction execution, with 400+ quality checks built into their process. An independent freelance engagement: website design, development and deployment, built around two real features beyond a standard brochure site — an interactive cost estimator (plot size, floors, built-up area, across four package tiers) and a gated portfolio where only the first image of each project is public, with sign-up required to view the rest.
Problem
A standard brochure site wouldn't get buyers to actually engage — no way to estimate real cost, and no reason for a visitor to leave contact details before browsing away.
Research
Built around two real product decisions: a cost estimator so buyers get an instant number instead of a "contact us," and a gated portfolio that trades deeper project images for a signup.
Solution
A working cost-estimation tool and a gated portfolio — the first image of every project public, the rest behind a login — plus the full website design, development and deployment.
Impact
A live site with real custom functionality, not just a static brochure — outcomes weren't formally tracked, so kept descriptive here.
